Grace bawden

    Grace Maria Bawden was born February 17, 1873 in Mount Carroll, the eldest of three children. She was the daughter of Collan Bawden and Anna Kneale Bawden. Grace was a student at the Frances Shimer Academy and stayed on to become head of the Fine Arts Department in the late 1800’s.
