Sacred Landscapes and the Stars— An archaeological-astronomy trek to the Four Corners Area of the Southwestern U.S.

The Mount Carroll District library continues its Travelogue Series on Thursday, October 25, with a visual presentation by Mount Carroll’s Stephanie Samuels and Dan Brinkmeier. They will will share images and stories about their August, 2018 trek to the Four Corners Area of the U.S., and talk about “Dark Skies” star gazing and camping at archaeological sites such as Chaco Canyon, Hovenweep, and Mesa Verde. The presentation is at 6 pm.
