HAVING OUR SAY: The Delany Sisters' First One Hundred Years

This program is for adults who are interested in the story of Sadie and Bessie Delany, sisters who both lived to be over a hundred years of age. They tell of growing up in a large family in the South during the time of Jim Crow laws, of their education and professions, and of their strong family ties.

May 31st Sign-up will begin, and a copy of the book will be available for you. The ticket for the performance is $20 if you would like to reserve your seat through the library.
June 13th 5:30 We will have a short book discussion and then watch the movie.
June 21th 6:30 We will meet at the theater for an outdoor pre-party and attend the performance.
