The Mount Carroll Township Public Library has been awarded a grant from The Libri Foundation.
The Libri Foundation is a nationwide non-profit organization that donates new, quality children’s books to small, rural public libraries in the United States through its Books for Children Program.
The library received 82 new books valued at $1.401.43. These books cover a range of ages from infant to middle school. They include board books, picture books, chapter books; the nonfiction include biography, math, science, poetry, and current events. All titles have won awards or have been highly recommended by recognized authorities in the fields of education and library science.

In honor of Children’s Book Week (May 4-10) these wonderful new books will be on display and ready for check out!
