Tom McKay, historian and author, will be coming to the Mt. Carroll Library on Wednesday morning, February 24, at 9:00 am. He will present his book West Fork, a novel set in a small western Illinois crossroads community; his story begins in 1968, and his characters face the many changes in rural areas during the next three decades. Guests will see themselves and neighbors in both the characters and events in his book, which is available at the Library.

Mr. McKay will discuss his story with us and will bring copies of West Fork to sign. He will donate half of the purchase price back to the library. There is no charge for his program. Please join us for a lively discussion and light refreshments.
